A Preston Hollow native, Philip Lang began his landscaping career as a young entrepreneur pushing a mower and tackling small landscape projects with two friends during the summers. Prior to graduating from Hillcrest High School, their client base had grown to almost 40 weekly accounts. Lang continued this pursuit through his sophomore year in college.
After graduating from Texas Tech University with a B.B.A in Finance (with honors) in 2000, Lang was an analyst in the Corporate Real Estate Department for Bank of America. He later moved to the Syndicated Capital Markets Group with Banc of America Securities. He left the finance arena to join Turfgrass America before forming Texas Land Care in 2003. As president, Lang is active in overseeing day-to-day operations. He is also a licensed realtor, and his outside interests include ranching and cattle production.
Lang sits on the Steering Committee for the annual Rawls College of Business scholarship fundraiser and serves on the board of the Stemmons Corridor Business Association.
